TITAN is a cylindrical grinding machine for external or internal diameters with a moving table, modular in size and suitable for machining parts up to 1,000, 1,500, or 2,000 mm in length and a swing diameter of 360 or 460 mm.

The kinematics your way

The linear motion axes can be equipped with absolute digital brushless motors or with linear motors controlled by pressurized optical scale.
All-In-One Tailstock

The unit is fully equipped with everything you need: a manual or pedal-operated spindle. A knob for adjusting the taper of the workpiece is included, and the spindle moves along the table using a convenient rack and pinion.
The starting block

Carved from a block of natural granite, the base guarantees the precision of the best test benches. Thermal and dimensional stability, rigidity, and accuracy are among the best in their class.
A clear-headed approach

Universal torque workhead (C-axis) with integrated angular position control. Bar passage for connecting automatic gripping systems and rack for easy positioning along the table.
Flexible grinding wheelhead unit

The rotating turret with torque motor (B-axis) allows continuous angular movements for maximum flexibility. Numerous tool configurations are available with external grinding wheels up to 610 mm in diameter and internal spindles of all sizes.

THE STARTING BLOCK

The TITAN base is carved from a block of natural granite, crafted in Italy with the same precision as the finest test benches. Only by starting from this can we achieve the highest precision and durability.

MODULAR GRINDING

3 lengths available (1000 - 1500 - 2000) to complete all your projects. Each version features a generously sized base to accommodate all TITAN configurations. The tip height can also be selected to meet every need.

FLEXIBLE UNIT

The grinding wheel axis is equipped with a rotating torque turret (B-axis) with micrometric angular movement and free positioning. Its modularity allows for the installation of internal and external tools for complex machining and special profiles. The diameter of external grinding wheels can reach 610 mm.

CINEMATICS AS YOU WANT IT

Both the transverse axis (X) and the longitudinal axis (Z) can be equipped with brushless motors coupled with a recirculating ball screw or with linear motors controlled by an absolute optical scale. The support groups are designed to use the customer's preferred system.

WITH YOUR RIGHT HEAD

TITAN is designed with a universal torque workhead with integrated angular position control. This allows for continuous spindle positioning to handle all possible machining operations. The various available heights (180/330 mm) allow for the rotation of workpieces up to 660 mm in diameter and 150 kg of overhang.

ALL-IN-ONE TAILSTOCK

The TITAN tailstock unit is equipped with everything you need: movement controlled manually by a lever or automatically by a pedal; pressure on the workpiece adjustable by spring or hydraulics. The cylindricity of the workpieces is corrected with a practical front knob equipped with an optical scale. The unit is moved along the fixed bench via a rack that facilitates the operator's setup operations.
