PYTHON is a cylindrical grinding machine for internal diameters and shavings, suitable for machining
workpieces with rotating diameters up to 260 or 500 mm. It can accommodate workpiece lengths of up to 500
mm and features a continuous torque turret (B-axis) to accommodate up to 4 electrospindles.

The linear axes, both internal and external, slide on linear guides with recirculating roller slides, moved by latest-generation linear motors and controlled by pressurized absolute optical scales.
A clear-headed approach

Workpiece holder head (C-axis) for cantilever machining, with torque motor and Morse 4 / ASA 4 connection cone (optional Morse 5 / ASA5). Bar passage for connection of automatic gripping systems and rack for easy positioning along the table.
Intelligent dressing

The diamond holder allows the mounting of dressing electrospindles complete with touch sensor for maximum dressing precision.

THE STARTING BLOCK

The natural granite base, in addition to ensuring maximum stability over time, features only three leveling points, ensuring a constant contact with any flooring. The granite is crafted in Italy with the same precision as the most accurate and precise test benches, guaranteeing a long lifespan.

THE ESSENCE OF PRECISION

Gli assi di movimento lineare X e Z scorrono su guide a ricircolo di rulli ultra precise e sono mossi da motori lineari di ultima generazione. Le righe ottiche assolute e pressurizzate sono montate all’interno della struttura di movimento e le connessioni rapide consentono facile manutenzione a tutti i gruppi macchina.

MODULARITY WITHOUT LIMITS

The PYTHON grinding wheel holder unit allows the installation of different grinding units for any type of workpiece. From single-spindle carriages to double parallel supports to multi-spindle B-axis with continuous torque rotation, any machining operation is possible on the PYTHON.

ROTAZIONE EVOLUTA

Tra gli accessori disponibili, l’asse A per il posizionamento angolare della testa porta pezzo in continuo consente all’operatore di eseguire diametri cilindrici e conici in un unico piazzamento. Il sistema con recupero del gioco e sbloccaggio automatico azzera i lunghi piazzamenti macchina senza dover modificare le posizioni di setup.

COMPACT DIMENSION

Despite its extreme configurability, PYTHON takes up very little floor space: 2400 x 2000 x 2200 mm, which houses all the units required for its operation. The hydraulic power unit, pneumatic system, and electrical cabinet are integral with the machine, making PYTHON a and independent grinding island.

EXTREME ACCESSIBILITY

As per tradition, PYTHON draws on MAR's experience in field maintenance of cylindrical grinders: for this reason, the casing and arrangement of the components are designed to allow the end user maximum accessibility and maintainability, thanks to convenient doors and the position of the machine units.
