X
Carved from a block of natural granite, the base guarantees the precision of the best test benches. Thermal and dimensional stability, rigidity, and accuracy are among the best in their class.
Flexible grinding wheelhead unit

The rotating turret with torque motor (B-axis) allows continuous angular movements for maximum flexibility. Numerous tool configurations are available with external grinding wheels up to 760 mm in diameter and internal spindles of all sizes.
Accessories for every need

In-process measuring systems on motorized axes, workpiece support rests, and dedicated dressing supports. The platform is designed for modularity and flexibility.
The ultimate in motion
X
The X-axis moves on state-of-the-art recirculating roller linear guides, while the Z-axis slides on hydrostatic V-plane guides. Both axes are driven by brushless motors coupled to recirculating ball screws and controlled by absolute optical scales.
A clear-headed approach
X
The standard universal workhead with torque motor can support weights of up to 600 kg. cantilevered and 1500 kg. between the centers and features an ASA8 attachment, with versions available for heavier weights.
All-in-one tailstock
X
The tailstock unit is available with a 95 mm diameter quill, integrates cylindricity correction via an on-board knob and is able to support workpieces weighing up to 1500 kg, with the possibility of larger loads on request.

The components of the grinding machine

THE STARTING BLOCK

A natural granite monolith forms the excellent foundation for the X3000 / X4000 / X5000. Thanks to the flexibility guaranteed by this material, the machine can be customized according to the customer's individual needs.

SPACE COSTS...

The project stems from the desire to create a large machine in a small space. The mobile mast solution allows the X3000-X4000-X5000 to contain its footprint in the smallest possible space. The telescopic opening of the two large front doors allows heavy workpieces to be loaded using cranes or hoists.

CUSTOM WORK

In the basic version, it is possible to install an electrospindle or spindle on hydrodynamic bushings for grinding wheels up to 760 mm in diameter. An optional large torque grinding wheel turret (B-axis) with 620x620 mm support is available, on which it is possible to install up to 4 different spindles, for both external and internal diameters, of large dimensions. The axis can be positioned at an angular position freely programmable by the operator, with a resolution of 0.0001°.

CINEMATICS AS YOU WANT IT

Whether you prefer traditional kinematics, with brushless motors coupled with recirculating ball screws, or more advanced kinematics, with liquid-cooled linear motors, the modularity and flexibility of the support groups installed on the X3000-X4000-X5000 guarantee your preferred version for both the transverse axis (X) and the longitudinal axis (Z).

WITH YOUR RIGHT HEAD

X3000-X4000-X5000 è equipaggiata con una testa porta pezzo Torque dedicata a lavorazioni pesanti. Il mandrino universale consente lavorazioni a centri fissi o rotanti. L’attacco mandrino è Morse 6 / ASA8 (opzionalmente ASA 11) ed il passaggio barra è di 40 mm. Il controllo angolare di posizione è effettuato tramite un anello assoluto montato all’interno del gruppo. E’ possibile aggiungere cilindri automatici per la movimentazione di sistemi di presa pezzo.

ALL-IN-ONE TAILSTOCK

The tailstock unit of the X3000-X4000-X5000 is equipped with everything you need: the bushing-mounted quill has a diameter of 95 mm, the hydraulic movement allows for axial movement of 100 mm, and it has adjustable thrust. The device for micrometric cylindricity correction is on board, and the unit is moved along the fixed bench via a rack that facilitates the operator during setup.
